Protecting your privacy

The following terms and conditions (T&C) are for the #GrooveWithOrientBLDC contest that will be conducted on the official Instagram Page - https://www.instagram.com/orientelectric/ and Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/OrientElectric. Participating in the contest, means you unconditionally agree and accept all the terms and conditions mentioned herein.

1.  The contest and gratifications are the property of Orient Electric Ltd. ("Orient Electric"/ "Company"). The Company reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the contest including but not limited to the contest dates, gratification, and eligibility criteria of participation, at any point of time, without serving any prior notice or payment of any cost or compensation, with intimation of such modification or withdrawal posted on https://www.orientelectric.com/contest. The Company's decision regarding the same shall be final and binding.

2.  Participation is open only for residents of India aged 18 and above.

3. The contest is open from 18th April 2023, 10:00 am to 8rd May 2023, 10:00 PM. In the #GrooveWithOrientBLDC contest, the participants must:
      a. Groove on the Orient BLDC Ghoomega Toh India Jhoomega song doing the hook-step just like our captain cool "MS Dhoni".
      b. Upload your video as a reel using a Public Instagram account by tagging Orient_electric and using #GrooveWithOrientBLDC and #BLDCMeansOrient.

4.  The contest will have a total of 15 lucky winners. 5 winners will be selected and will stand a chance to win an amazon e-voucher worth Rs. 5,000. Additional 10 lucky winners will stand a chance to win gift vouchers worth Rs. 2,000

5.  Participants will have to like and follow Orient Electric Instagram page to be eligible for winning.

6. The Company reserves its right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any customer deemed to be: a) violating the terms and conditions of this contest; b) engaging in fraud, dishonesty or illegal activity; or (c) share obscene entries in the contest.

7.  Participation after the specified dates do not hold Orient Electric liable for any gratifications, awarding any price, gift or voucher in any nature whatsoever. Entries will only be taken into consideration if all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the T&C are fulfilled.

8.  By entering the #GrooveWithOrientBLDC Contest, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your entry is true, accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Orient Electric reserves the right to verify any information contained in your entry and/or your eligibility to enter the competition.

9.  Orient Electric may contact you and engage with you in the future, based on the information you provide.

10.  You hereby give your explicit consent to Orient Electric or any third party authorized by Orient Electric, to use your entry, details or other information as may be required by Orient Electric from time to time for promotional purposes.

11.  You hereby confirm the contents of your entry are true to the best of your knowledge and belief. You will retain ownership of the copyright in your entry but you give Orient Electric (and any third party authorized by Orient Electric) absolute and irrevocable permission to use, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, copy, amend, store, sell and sub-license, use your entry worldwide for above-stated competition or quiz purpose. Orient Electric is committed to the protection of personal information of the participants.

12.  Orient Electric will announce lucky winners within a week from the date of conclusion of the contest via personal message on respective Instagram handle. In no event shall Orient Electric be held liable for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment of any kind, that might be suffered by any participant in furtherance of this contest. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.

13.  Orient Electric Ltd. accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post, or due to computer error in transit. The Company does not accept any responsibility for any incorrect and/or incomplete communication detail provided and/or delay in receipt of communication and/or non-receipt of communication by the participant.

15.  In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the conduct or results of the contest or any other matter relating to it, the decision of Orient Electric shall be final, binding and unchallenged and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered, comment issued, or reason given in respect of any decision made by Orient Electric.

16.  Participation in the #GrooveWithOrientBLDC Contest is not linked, directly or indirectly, to the purchase of any product or service from Orient Electric.

17.  Absolute and final discretion on any aspect of the #GrooveWithOrientBLDC contest will be of Orient Electric.

18.  These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
